Ceramic is a sealant/hardener that is applied over top of a vehicle's clear coat. This ceramic fills in the pores of a normal clear coat, making the car look extremely shiny. Ceramic also protects your paint. Normal clear coat is level 4H in hardness. So if you rub a dry towel against it, it will create micro scratches. Our ceramic is level 9H in hardness. So if you rub a dry towel against it, it won't scratch. It also makes washing your car a lot easier since it is extremely hydrophobic. Dirt and contaminants will not stick to your paint.
Paint correction is the process of polishing a vehicle. For example, a 2-stage correction starts with a machine cutting pad and compound to remove large scratches in paint (stage 1), stage 2 is the soft pad and polish to completely level the minor swirl marks and dullness of the paint.
Whenever you see your paint in the sunlight, if you look closely you'll see swirl marks. Even if you think your paint looks really good after it's cleaned, chances are you'll still see swirls. When you see an exotic or high-end car the reason it stands out to you a lot of the time is because of how shiny the paint is. It's because there are no swirl marks, the paint is basically perfect.
That's because high-end manufacturers (and the owners) understand the importance of a professional paint correction. Majority of car manufacturers use the same paint! Whether it is Rolls Royce, or a Toyota. The difference is a Rolls has received a paint correction, the Toyota has not.
Paint correction takes the most time, requires the most skill, and is overall the most important part of this process. Reason being, after you apply the ceramic, you won't be able to correct the paint.
Each coating comes with a warranty based on its stated lifetime. 1,3, and 6 years. However, the coating can last much longer as long as it is maintained properly.
The paint correction process varies per car. Depending on the vehicle's size and paint condition, the labor times will vary. Newer vehicles with great paint conditions will take roughly 6-8 hours to correct and apply the ceramic. The ceramic must cure for 12 hours inside our garage, so expect a full 1-day process.
Older vehicles with worse paint conditions vary. For example, a black truck with 120,000 miles will take up to 2 full days to correct and apply ceramic, which must cure for 12 hours indoors, so in total a 3-day process.

Of course, we are going to say yes. The truth is, most professional ceramic coating applicators charge a lot more than us. We are here to make it reasonably affordable and to give you the best quality work and product. Read reviews about ceramic before you purchase if you don't believe us. It is an absolutely amazing product. If you want to protect your car, increase its resale value, and keep it so clean it hurts, you need this product.
After we perform our paint correction, the ceramic will seal the paint for its stated lifetime. This is why the paint correction process is so important. You WILL NOT have to wax or buff your car for many, many years. It will look freshly waxed and buffed after every hand wash.
People have tried, and people have failed. This is a professional application that should be taken very seriously. Paint correction is an art form. If you don't know how to do it properly, you can destroy your paint. The ceramic coating application is a trade in its own. Overlapping the ceramic and not having even layers can create noticable dark spots on your paint. It is not something to fool around with!
Here's a quick video showing how ceramic works on a vehicle. This is an aged video, the updated product we use is even more hydrophobic and lasts longer!
