Make your coating last. Ceramic After Care

Even though a ceramic coating is very durable, if you want to make the investment last in the long run, you need to take care of it! Here are some tips for after care.

NO BRUSHED CAR WASHES!

Brushed car washes will void your ceramic coating warranty and can ruin your coating! Hand wash and brushless car wash only.

Gentle Washing

Ceramic coating is 2x stronger than clearcoat, however, it can still scratch! Use a clean microfiber wash mitt, hit the dirtiest spots last.

Blow Dry

The best way to dry your car is with a leaf blower or compressed air. DO NOT LET WATER SIT AND DRY. This can cause hard etching water marks in your ceramic coating.

Always lubricate your paint before you touch it. Use a detail spray to spray any water marks or places that need to be touched up and gently buff them off.

To cover the warranty on the ceramic coating, bring your vehicle in for full detail and paint inspection. We will apply our ceramic topcoat booster to prolong the coating.

Full Cure time is 2-3 weeks. Your coating should not be touched until it's fully cured!

The ceramic coating can get wet if the car has to be outside. However, you should avoid any hard water (sprinklers) and tree sap/bird droppings. If anything does happen to fall on the paint, remove it immedialty. Gently spray it with some water and carefully pull it off. Keep in mind, the coating is still soft, so the more abbrassive you are, the more likely you are to scratch it.

The best way to dry the vehicle is with a leaf blower or compressed air. However, a soft plush drying towel works great too, just make sure it is clean.
